The Johannes Gerber SUPER JAZZ alto saxophone mouthpiece is a small chamber design offering the saxophonist freedom of expression, powerful projection and presence, rich harmonics, and a thicker core sound.

The small chamber is masterfully finished with a low roll-over baffle and slightly concave side-walls squeezing into the smaller throat area. It plays very loud and bold when pushed, and sounds warm when played at lesser dynamic levels or with slower air.

This new model was designed for the demanding saxophonist favoring the best flexibility, balance, power and clarity. In terms of power, this model and the Vibra Master NY are equally capable, but the Super Jazz can be characterized as having a thicker and darker core sound, while the Vibra Master NY is brighter and more open sounding.
