Product Details
We have developed a modern equivalent for the famous 'vintage hard rubber' from the 1950's, with properties closely related to the material used for the vintage Otto Link and Meyer mouthpieces from from the past. Follow the TECH link for more information.

The Johannes Gerber SOLO LC soprano saxophone mouthpiece features a unique medium-large chamber design that offers the saxophonist freedom of expression, superior intonation, and a sound that is characterized by depth, clarity, and authority. The SOLO LC has a character of its own - it has the rich sound large chamber soprano saxophone mouthpieces are known for, with the projection and sparkle favored by today's most demanding saxophonists.

The slight roll-over baffle and straight side-walls expand near the throat before transitioning into the bore. The chamber design is complimented by the optimized facing specification, resulting in a free-blowing mouthpiece with just enough resistance for ease of control and articulation in the extreme high register.

"It's beautiful, deep, penetrating and filled with character in my opinion." Steve Neff

"The best soprano saxophone mouthpiece I've ever played." - Dave O'Higgins
