Johannesgerber.com is the trading name of SA Woodwinds (Pty) Ltd. based in Uitenhage, South Africa. We specialize in the manufacture of saxophone mouthpieces, modification/restoration of saxophone mouthpieces, and servicing/sales of saxophones and clarinets.

Our Company registered address is 30A Lavender Crescent, Fairbridge Heights, Uitenhage 6229, South Africa, but this is our accountant's address so do not expect to find any saxophones there!

 

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Basket" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept payment by credit/debit card or PayPal, and all payments are made in USD Dollar. Your payment provider will convert the transaction to your native currency at their exchange rate.

 

Delivery Schedule

We aim to dispatch all orders within 3-5 business days. Where an item is out of stock and have to be made, shipment typically takes place within 14 workdays. Should the delay be longer for whatever reason, such as a Covid-19 related delay, you will be updated accordingly.

All orders are shipped with ARAMEX Express and worldwide delivery usually takes between 4 to 10 work days.

 

Tax Charges

All orders are VAT free, but you may be liable for Customs Duties and VAT when importing into your country.

 

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

 

Guarantee

Unless otherwise stated, all goods have a manufacturer’s warranty for 12 months and some for as long as 5 years! Your warranty is with the manufacturer and we will help replace your faulty item by contacting the manufacturer on your behalf. Please note damaged goods are not covered under a manufacturers warranty.

Privacy Policy

Johannesgerber.com only share buyer’s information with our courier partners for shipping of your order. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' option.

 

Returns Policy - Online Sales

There is no automatic right of refund where hygiene issues are relevant such as used mouthpieces & reeds. In other words, if you have used a saxophone mouthpiece already, it may not be eligible for a refund. A full refund will be made less all shipping costs and any Customs Duties and VAT which may be relevant upon re-importation of the returned item.

For a full refund, goods must be returned in brand new retail-able condition. Any reduction in value will be deducted from the refund. Reduced value may be due to marks, damage, wear, damaged packaging etc.

It is the customer’s responsibility for the cost and safe return of the goods. Please email help@johannesgerber.com for an estimated return cost.
Please note that all refunds are transacted in the original USD Dollar value at your payment provider's current exchange rate.

Refunds will be made within 7 days after johannesgerber.com received the returned item in new condition as described above.
